What does “over the top” travel mean to you? Is it the exclusive use of Sponza Palace for a performance by the Croatian Philharmonic Orchestra, privatization of the Egyptian Pyramids of Giza for sunset, or a food experience set in a 1,700-year-old Mediterranean metropolis? For Kristin Chambers, it is all of this and more. Through her modern-day luxury travel consultancy D.A. Luxury Travel (launched in 2006), she and her team cater to discerning vacationers who don’t just want to take trips – they want to experience travel. Her tailored-to-you itineraries for high-end clients boast the ultimate wow factor thanks to Chambers’ Black Book of powerhouse insiders across the globe. With 18 years of experience, it’s her “reach for the stars” conceptualizing that has her on Conde Nast’s Top Travel Specialists list, Travel & Leisure’s A list of advisors for “over the top trips,” and in the Top 25 All Star Travel Advisors by Travel Agent Magazine, and an invite-only Virtuoso Culinary & Ultraluxe membership, to name a few.
In 2016, Chambers wanted to create a space in which seasoned and emerging travel advisors could evolve the industry together. And so TRAVELLUSTRE was born, a full-service travel agency that oversees a highly regarded Boston-based portfolio of fellow luxury travel consultants. The group was soon nominated for the “Luminaries, Legends and Leaders” award for its economic generosity within the travel space during the pandemic. It’s this passion that drives Chambers to deliver the extraordinary to her clientele.

Sarah is a marketing and event management professional who is passionate about exploring new places at any opportunity. She was born and raised just outside of Boston and has always enjoyed exploring the small, charming towns that Massachusetts has to offer. This love for finding similar towns has translated into her travels. She enjoys cruising to warm destinations such as Curacao, Barbados, and Bonaire.
Out of all the places she has visited, her extended trip to Israel was the one that ignited her passion for travel and helping clients plan unforgettable trips. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading a good book, or planning her next adventure.
Combining over a decade of world travel experience in various roles within the luxury hotel and luxury cruise industry, I have continuously nurtured a passion for discovering new places and meeting wonderful people along the way.
A year spent living & working in Sydney enhanced my appreciation for adventure travel with memorable trips to the Australian rainforest and the mountains of New Zealand – two beautiful places I hope everyone can experience. My time in favorites like London, Paris, and New York had me seeking out the finest hotels, restaurants & cocktail bars, and entertainment – key components to any itinerary. Soaking up the lifestyle and diverse regions of the Mediterranean coast remains an ever-present recommendation of mine – especially by boat!
Now, as a Luxury Travel Advisor, I have developed an understanding of the leading global destinations for today’s curious traveler. I enthusiastically approach each itinerary with personal recommendations and a heightened level of detail to curate unique experiences and seamless travels.
For me, traveling is all about the unexpected, the special moments, and cherishing time with people I love the most. These are the values I bring to the drawing board when helping my clients plan their next great adventure.
